Note that all of these policies are tentative and subject to change.
i. General Rules
i.1. The name of the club shall be the Anime Club of Erie, herinafter rendered as ACE. But you can call it Aku-chan.
i.2. Aku-chan exists to foster discussion and interest in anime, manga, and related topics. This shall not be taken to restrict Aku-chan's mission in any way.
i.3. Members of Aku-chan are expected to treat each other courteously, regardless of differing views. Differing views should be a cause for discussion, not conflict.
i.4. Indeed, as representatives of a sometimes misunderstood culture, members should strive to set an example of polite interaction, with each other, and with outsiders.
i.5. Officers of Aku-chan are expected to treat their own interests and opinions as secondary to smooth operations of the club.
i.6. Members must also comply with all policies of club meeting or activity venues. It is the responsibility of members to know what these policies are.
i.7. These policies in section 'i' are permanent, and may not be removed. However, new policies may be added.
i.8. Any new sections added will follow the 'i ro ha' ordering, for fun.
ro. Membership
ro.1. Aku-chan does not discriminate based on age, sex, race, creed, planetary origin, cybernetic status, hair color, or existence of cat ears. Nya~?
ro.2. Members age 17 or less at time of joining must have a signed permission slip on file from a parent or other legal guardian.
ro.3. Members age 13 or less at time of joining must also be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times. Robots shall be exempt from this rule, as well as the preceding.
ro.4. In case of emergency, all Aku-chan members must have two emergency contacts on file.
ro.5. These policies in section 'ro' are permanent, and may not be removed. However, new policies may be added.
ha. Dues and responsibilities
ha.1. Aku-chan does not exist to earn a profit.
ha.2. Membership in Aku-chan is free of charge.
ha.3. Any expenses incurred in club operation must be shared equally among members, or otherwise divided by mutual agreement.
ha.4. Proceeds from fundraising activities shall go to Aku-chan alone. Time and materials supplied by members are considered as donations for the club's benefit.
ha.5. This section may be freely changed by member vote, as required, except for number 1: Aku-chan must always remain nonprofit.
